As a Cybersecurity Officer, you will be responsible for crafting and executing organization-wide cybersecurity strategies tailored to meet evolving threats. You will oversee the installation and management of advanced security systems, including firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems, while leading incident response efforts to minimize downtime and data loss. Regular security audits, risk assessments, and penetration tests will be conducted under your supervision to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Collaboration with other departments will be critical to integrate security best practices seamlessly into organizational operations and maintain a robust disaster recovery plan.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in IT, cybersecurity, or a related field and brings at least five years of experience in senior cybersecurity roles. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, and CompTIA Security+ are essential, with additional specialized certifications like GIAC, OSCP, or CCSP considered advantageous. Expertise in network security, SIEM tools, and penetration testing, along with familiarity with leading cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001, is required. The candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset to manage threats effectively and uphold the organization’s integrity and resilience.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field; relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.).

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles.

  • Expertise in threat intelligence, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and implement effective security strategies.
