GH Executive is seeking a Chief Steward oversees all stewarding operations, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of kitchenware, inventory, and compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will lead by example, maintaining high standards of hygiene, organization, and team efficiency.

The Chief Steward is responsible for maintaining HACCP standards and supervising cleaning tasks in kitchen areas, ensuring all duties are performed to the highest standard. The role involves managing inventory, replenishing kitchen supplies, and overseeing cleaning supplies while maintaining budgetary guidelines. Inspection of kitchen areas, equipment, and storerooms ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.

The Chief Steward works closely with outlets to meet operational needs, liaises with purchasing departments for supply management, and maintains detailed department records. They will also ensure training and development for new team members, helping them adhere to department policies. Cleaning duties may be required alongside leadership responsibilities to ensure organization and health standards..

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role or equivalent training.

  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, food service practices, and HACCP regulations.

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ability to operate Micros terminals.

  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments and make quick decisions.
     

Salary $30k + Housing + Flights + Health Insurance
